Your business falls into one of three categories:

Wide Open  - Not using virus protection, just hoping for the best and dealing with the worst when it happens.

Semi-Safe - There is no such thing.

Safe - Have implemented company wide virus protection with automatic virus definition updates that are regularly distributed to all workstations.  Any new computer or visitor connecting to the network will have virus protection automatically installed before network resources are made available.  The anti-virus software will not allow employees to turn off or alter the virus protection settings.  Last, the installation is monitored to insure proper day to day operation.
